캘리포니아 주 교육청에서 승인된 초·중·고등학교 교사 자격증을 보유하고 있으며,
미국 공립학교에서 정식 교사로 근무한 경력이 있습니다.

25년 이상의 개인 과외 경험과 7년간의 학원 소그룹 수업 경력을 바탕으로,
학생의 수준과 목표에 맞춘 맞춤형 지도를 제공합니다.
특히 라이팅, 문법, 리딩 분야에 전문성을 갖추고 있으며, 영어로 수업하면서 필요에 따라 한국어로도 지도 가능합니다.

프리스쿨부터 중학교 수준까지 영어, 한국어, 역사, 수학, 리딩, 문법, 라이팅 등 전 과목을 지도합니다.
고등학생에게는 영어, 역사, 리딩, 라이팅 수업을 제공합니다.
성인을 위한 문법 및 회화 수업도 가능하며, 저학년을 위한 북클럽 프로그램도 운영하고 있습니다.

수업료는 시간당 $50이며, 월 단위로 청구됩니다.

I offer classes once or twice a week, which I have found to be highly effective for consistent learning progress.
Currently, sessions are available on Mondays (Pacific Time).
Enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis, with a waiting list available as needed.

I am a UC Berkeley graduate with California-approved teaching credentials for elementary, middle, and high school levels.
I previously worked as a classroom teacher in U.S. public schools, where I gained valuable hands-on teaching experience.

With over 25 years of private tutoring and seven years leading small-group sessions at academies,
I provide highly personalized instruction tailored to each student’s learning style and goals.
My expertise lies particularly in writing, grammar, and reading, and I teach primarily in English with Korean support available when needed.

I teach all core subjects from preschool through middle school—including English, Korean, history, math, reading, grammar, and writing—and offer specialized courses for high school students in English, history, reading, and writing.

I also provide grammar and conversation lessons for adults and organize book clubs for younger students.

Tuition is $50 per hour, billed monthly.
